
MW15 The FX Progressive Tour: BRT Design, Land Use and Community
FX2-Division is the Portland region’s first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line, operating along Division Street in Southeast Portland. Division is a corridor with a spectrum of neighborhoods and communities, each with its own character, culture and background. Make stops along Division as you learn about the wide-ranging community benefits leveraged through the FX-2 project, including job creation, workforce training and long-term economic empowerment. Hear from the City of Portland Bureau of Transportation, Orego Metro and a range of community and civic leaders who championed the project, including the Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon (APANO), the 82nd Ave Coalition, Division Midway, Raimore Construction and others.
