“Since we had been teaching this class at TriMet for the past 3 years, we have seen a complete 180 in the way that our committee engages more positively, in a more engaged way with our staff. . . . Consistently their feedback to presenters is, oh my goodness, this is the best presentation I’ve ever seen. I actually understand how that new bus rapid transit line is actually going to impact me. Thank you so much.”

MiMi Bernal-Graves, MS, PHR
Program Manager, Learning Management System, TriMet, Portland, OR
“Constantly having to advocate for your space in the world is exhausting. So if all of us just do a little bit of planning, take a little bit of a proactive approach, use a little bit of universal design, we can support our whole communities without them having to constantly remind us to think of them. And I think that that’s really powerful.”
— MiMi Bernal-Graves
