Rates to attend the Mpact Transit + Community Conference
Conference registration covers 60+ sessions, plenaries and networking events, including the Welcome Reception and Tuesday night's PK Slam, a signature Mpact event!
Additional fees are required for Mobile Workshops and Pre-Conference Events, for which space is limited and registration is first-come, first-served. You must be a conference attendee to sign up for Pre-Conference Events or Mobile Workshops. Each attendee is limited to 2 Mobile Workshops to ensure that more conference attendees have an opportunity to participate.
Regional Day, on Wednesday afternoon, also requires a separate fee. It is open to non-conference attendees.
Meals: Conference registration includes continental breakfast on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and the closing plenary lunch on Wednesday. No other meals are provided.

Send a Delegation
Is your region gearing up for a transit expansion or building a stakeholder network to support transit, land use plans plus community and economic development? Consider sending a delegation to the annual Mpact Transit + Community conference. Delegations use the conference as a launching pad toward stronger collaborative work on the ground. Volunteer at MpactPhilly
Volunteers guide attendees to off-site events, support Mobile Workshops and the Local Information table, and more. Shifts require as little as a 4-hour time commitment between Saturday, October 19, and Wednesday, October 23. Find out more.
Scholarships - Applications open through July 19
Conference scholarships help ensure that the network of attendees is diverse. In 2024, scholarships are prioritized for those working with community-based organizations and advocacy organizations. Scholarship applications are due by 11:45pm CDT on July 19. Applications received after July 19 will be considered on a rolling basis pending eligibility and available funds. Apply for a scholarship.
Cancellations
Cancellation requests received prior to September 6 will receive a full refund. Between September 6 and September 27, cancellations will receive a refund minus a $100 fee. After September 27, there are no refunds for cancellation of conference registration, mobile workshops or any add-on events. Persons who do not show up for the event will be responsible for the entire registration fee.
Conference Hotel
Attention: The room block is sold out at the conference hotel, the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. There may be additional rooms at the Sheraton at different rates. Or, there are other hotel options nearby.

If you click Check Availability first, the website leaves the conference room block and may show no available rooms. If the room block does sell out, we will post that information here.
The 2024 Mpact Transit + Community Conference will be at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown, located in City Center, on North 17th Street, between Race Street and Vine Street.

Please note these Hotel policies: All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. If a guest does not cancel a reservation within forty-eight (48) hours before the guest’s check-in date, the Hotel may charge the credit card one night’s room fee plus any applicable taxes. At the time of check-in, each guest will be required to present a major credit card whose brand is accepted by Hotel, on which Hotel may place a hold in accordance with Hotel’s standard procedure or process a prepayment in the amount of the guest’s estimated charges, if prepayment has not already been made.
