Kelly Betteridge

Kelly has over 18 years of transit project development experience, leading major capital investments with a focus on successfully navigating the FTA New Starts/Small Starts process.  As a former manager of capital planning at TriMet, Kelly led the strategy and development of multiple capital projects including the agency’s first BRT project and the development of the agency’s Enhanced Transit Concepts program which focused on bus speed and reliability.  In her new role at Metro she manages a team of planners and engineers that lead planning studies and multimodal corridor project development. In her spare time she enjoys reading memoirs, planning adventures with her family and coaching a middle school Oregon Battle of the Books team.
