Trinity Ek

As Program and Partnerships Associate, Trinity supports the organization’s three programs: Mpact Transit + Community, Mpact:LAB and Mpact:VOICES and manages Mpact’s social media (find us on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube!). They crunch numbers and help out wherever needed for Mpact Transit + Community, produce educational resources for Mpact:LAB, and write blogs for Mpact:VOICES.

Trinity is deeply passionate about the ways we connect with each other and the world around us. Before starting at Mpact, she worked as a Seeds Student Worker at the Minnesota Department of Transportation in Statewide Planning. She graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, with a degree in Urban Studies and minors in Geographic Information Science and Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management. During their time at the University, they conducted research about the urban environment which is published in the journal, Open Rivers. She also participated in community-engaged learning opportunities, such as HECUA’s Environmental Justice Program.

Trinity is an avid walker and enjoys taking transit to and in new places – her transit card collection grows by the year. They love fiber arts, camping, reading, and (being bad at) trivia. She was born and raised in Minnesota. Trinity currently lives in Dallas, TX.
